Kim Kardashian is attempting to refresh herself and make some big changes after what became a disastrous 2011 with her quick divorce from Kris Humphries. Now single again, Kim has decided to update her look with a new hair color!

Kardashian has gone for a lighter, sun kissed look. Still a darker color, she is avoiding going blonde or anything extreme and is sticking with chocolate colors which compliment her skin tone and those beautiful dark eyes.

Kim posted a picture of her new color to Twitter yesterday and fans responded positively. She wrote: “I dyed my hair lighter yesterday! I’m loving it! New hair color = new beginnings for me. You like?”

New beginnings alright. Her colorist, Rebecca Friedman had some comments on the color as well as some advice for Kardashian fans. She wrote: “With everything she’s gone through, a little bit of change is nice,”. Friedman describes the color as: “cooler, chocolate-y brown with sun-kissed streaks that are close to her childhood color.”

The last time Kim went blonde was in 2009 and it looks like she is avoiding going to that look again. Friedman said she kept Kim’s natural color and just added highlights to accentuate it. Her advice for Kardashian fans looking for a similar color: go to a professional colorist because highlights are easy to get wrong.

Unfortunately this does not mean what most guys would think it means. It’s does not mean that we will be seeing a lot more of Kim Kardashian nude exactly, but that she is wearing a lot of skin tones in her color choices.

Kardashian recently posted to her blog that she was going to stay very nude this year and keep with the neutral colors. It really is a good look as can be seen by the gallery pics below. She looks stylish in those colors for sure and with her skin tone and dark hair she looks very warm and natural.

Kim wrote on her official blog: “I’ve been keeping my fashion very nude and neutral so far this year and dressing my looks up slightly with different scarves! When I find a look I love I tend to stick to it, but add some variation to keep it fresh. I think the colors are very clean and simple for spring! What do you think?”

Super hotty Kim Kardashian has decided to go for a brighter look for the summer months and has dyed her hair a lighter shade of brown. The new color was spotted yesterday as Kardashian left a television studio in California.

Kim tweeted about the new color, very happy with the results: “I dyed my hair lighter for summer, I’m loving it! I feel younger!”. The brighter look does definitely suit her.

Kim has just returned from Minnesota after spending some time there with fiance Kris Humphries and his close family. She is still in an ambitious fitness regime to drop a dress size for her upcoming wedding, as she tweeted one morning on her way to the gym: “Morning GORGEOUS!!!! Just finished an intense workout! I am so much more on my grind when I am in LA!”

Also, apparently Kim has more in common with big booty babde J-Lo because it’s been revealed that they share the same workout coach – Gunnar Peterson. He is apparently pushing Kim to her limits in recent workouts, with plenty of cardo and toning work.

Peterson has her doing curls and lunges with him to tighten up certain parts of her body – as long as the curves remain!

The Kardashian and Humphries wedding will be filmed and aired on E! and has a budget of as much as 10 million dollars.
