Kim Kardashian has had a chance to let her hair down when she attended Rob Kardashian’s 25th birthday party in Las Vegas. This comes after a pretty rough week for Kardashian with a new lawsuit against a plastic surgeon, a continuing fight with actor Jon Hamm, and annulment proceedings with Kris Humphries!

The birthday party for Rob was attended by all Kardashians and began with dinner at the Stack Restaurant & Bar then a visit to 1 OAK nightclub.

Kardashian is continuing annulment proceedings with Kris Humphries but have hit a few sticking points, with Kris apparently wanting $7 million for the divorce! Who knew he was a gold digger?

Kim is also about to start more legal proceedings, this time involving a plastic surgeon in Mexico. The surgeon used a picture of a bikini clad Kim Kardashian on his plastic surgery billboard without her permission and Kardashian was not happy!

The fight with Mad Men actor also continues with Jon Hamm admitting he might have been wrong to abuse Kardashian in that magazine interview, but it’s not quite an apology..

An extremely glamorous Kim Kardashian turned up to Elton John’s annual Oscars party looking her best. Kim wore an elegant and demure black gown with plenty of accessories in the form of large bangles and beautiful earrings.

Her hair was done immaculately in 1960’s Hollywood glamor style and her makeup was somewhat subdued. Kourtney Kardashian also attended the party and wore a beautiful white Grecian style gown with plenty of gold accessories.

Kourtney was positively glowing, possibly a side effect of being pregnant with her second child, already known to be a girl.

Kim Kardashian was tweeting her approval or disapproval or the fashion that various actresses were wearing on the red carpet, with her favorite being Angelina Jolie’s fun and sexy style. Kim tweeted: “Wow Angelina went fun & sexy!!!! LOVE”

Kim Kardashian was looking like a sexy femme fatal when she attended a number of Golden Globes parties on the weekend. Dressed in a breast revealing black lace dress with bright red lipstick Kim looked like a man eater. Sexy is an understatement as she also sparkled with jewelery and sequins in the dress.

The newly single Kardashian attended the Weinstein Company 2012 after-party and the 13th Annual Warner Bros/InStyle party.

Kim was happy to be there despite being called a trashier Kate Middleton by Ricky Gervais during the Golden Globe awards.

She was hanging out with a number of fashion industry people at the parties including Project Runway’s Nina Garcia and Heidi Klum.

However no gentlemen tried to pick Kardashian up which was unusual considering her newly single status and how sexy she was looking. Kim declared her favourite looks for the night to be Lea Michele’s gown and of course the crowd favourite Angelina Joile.

Kim Kardashian may be just a reality TV starlette, but on the weekend she was hanging out with a number of Hollywood A-list celebrities including Sean Penn, Orlando Bloom, Demi Moore, Mel Gibson and Hilary Swank. Kardashian was perhaps the most elegant of the attendees though, with a stylish silver ensemble that show off her curves and featured a plunging neckline.

Kim’s style was much like the actresses of the golden age of cinema in the 1930s and 1940s – glamorous and sophisticated. Her hair was very much in that elegant style of actresses of the time.

Kim curves did not help Demi Moore though, who was looking incredibly skinny to the point of appearing malnourished. Poor Demi has not been doing well after the break up with Ashton Kutcher and it shows. It was not fair putting Kim’s magnificent curves in the same room as Demi Moore’s skeletal frame!

The event was the “Cinema For Peace” held at the Montage Hotel in Los Angeles and was about raising awareness of the disaster in Haiti and raising some money. Sean Penn has been actively involved in helping Haitians for more than a decade as they combat famine, war and political corruption.

Kim Kardashian is making a habit of going to the Tao nightclub in Las Vegas for New Year Eves events. This year she turned up there once again and was in the mood to party.

Kim is even calling the event a tradition now: “It’s a tradition to bring in the new year here at Tao!”

She was certainly dressed to party with a new hair style and a super tight Gucci mini dress. Kardashian also wore Louboutin heels. However the hair style may have had the assistance of clip in bangs, the same style that Jennifer Lopez wears.

Kim was not wearing any of the three Elizabeth Taylor bracelets that she recently won at the auction event, but was wearing a lot of jewels by designer Loren.

As for Kim Kardashian’s future, she says: “I am ready to move forward and not look back. I learned a lot of about myself this past year and at the end of the day you always have to trust your gut”. But isn’t that what she did when she married Kris Humphries?

Kim continued “You’ve got to believe in love. I still do.” Well hopefully Kim finds a nicer guy on the horizon.
