The annual White House Correspondents Dinner has been an annual gathering of the journalists who cover politics in Washington and the president of the United States. However in recent years it has become more raucous and more of a celebrity packed event, with lots of laughs and lots of glamor.

This year the most glamorous woman of them all, Kim Kardashian, decided to turn up to the event and was looking her finest. Kim wore an emerald green evening gown, with a simple pearl necklace and her hair tied back in a bun. Simple elegance and beauty, very reminiscent of the old school Hollywood stars.

Kris Jenner attended the event with Kim, and she wore a more subdued red gown. Lindsay Lohan also made an appearance, dressed in black, she was no match for the elegant and sexy style of Kardashian.

Other celebrities attending the event included Charlize Theron, Reese Witherspoon, Zooey Deschanel and Claire Danes. Of those Claire Danes was the most stylish in an ivory gown that oozed class.

Kim Kardashian may be just a reality TV starlette, but on the weekend she was hanging out with a number of Hollywood A-list celebrities including Sean Penn, Orlando Bloom, Demi Moore, Mel Gibson and Hilary Swank. Kardashian was perhaps the most elegant of the attendees though, with a stylish silver ensemble that show off her curves and featured a plunging neckline.

Kim’s style was much like the actresses of the golden age of cinema in the 1930s and 1940s – glamorous and sophisticated. Her hair was very much in that elegant style of actresses of the time.

Kim curves did not help Demi Moore though, who was looking incredibly skinny to the point of appearing malnourished. Poor Demi has not been doing well after the break up with Ashton Kutcher and it shows. It was not fair putting Kim’s magnificent curves in the same room as Demi Moore’s skeletal frame!

The event was the “Cinema For Peace” held at the Montage Hotel in Los Angeles and was about raising awareness of the disaster in Haiti and raising some money. Sean Penn has been actively involved in helping Haitians for more than a decade as they combat famine, war and political corruption.

TMZ have posted a pic of Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian on their way out to dinner in New York recently to celebrate his birthday. They noted that it’s a familiar location for Kardashian who went there for dinner with Miles Austin in 2010.

Humphries looks like a giant next to petite Kim, so it’s a bit of an odd couple!

As far as thanksgiving goes, the Kardashian family has a strict attendance rule! That means we saw a big Kardashian dinner again this year with the entire family in attendance.

Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Lamar Odom, Scott Disick, Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian were all in at the dinner and they all were dressed very stylishly. It seems the Kardashians take their thanksgiving fun very seriously.

Kim Kardashian really knows how to flaunt her best assets! In New York still on a working holliday, Kim was spotted arriving for dinner with her sister Kourtney Kardashian. Kim was wearing a super sexy booty hugging striped dress. Kourtney was wearing a more subdued and elegant black dress, but still looked glamorous and sexy.

The Kardashian sisters are in the Big Apple to film scenes for “Kourtney & Kim Take New York”, which shows to two hotties exploring New York and visiting fashion shows, nice restaurants and the hottest clubs. The newly single Kim will certainly gather attention from guys wearing outfits like this one!
