There is no doubt that Kim Kardashian loves being the center of the party and her birthday provides the best opportunity to do so every year. Kim usually has multiple birthday parties across the country, and this year was no different with a party in New York and a party in Las Vegas.

Kardashian was turning 31, and with her mission accomplished (get married before she reached 31), Kim was relaxed and ready to party. Kim was joined by husband Kris Humphries, and the rest of her family.

Despite recent rumors suggesting that all is not rosy for Kim and her new husband, they were smiling and cuddling at the party and enjoyed a few drinks and some dancing.

Khloe Kardashian was having a great time with husband Lamar Odom while Kourtney seemed a bit more tense, perhaps indicating some marriage troubles for her!

Kim’s sister Khloe and her husband Lamar Odom were on hand to help celebrate and of course Kim’s mother and manager Kris Jenner was also part of the revelry.

Most of the party occurred at the Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan hotel and Kim showed off her curves in a figure hugging creme dress.

The celebrations in New York included some time at the Darby restaurant and some more low key celebrations, while Las Vegas was all about partying!

Kim Kardashian has revealed that her debut single, “Turn it up” will be launched soon, as little as 3 weeks! Kim made the revelation while on the red carpet at the 2011 Grammys, telling an MTV reporter about the upcoming release.

Kim had Kanye West and hip hop producer “The Dream” helping her create the song, which she shared in a sneak preview with fans a few weeks ago at a night club. The video was shot with the help of experienced video producer Hype Williams.

Kim told MTV: “[It's coming out] in about three weeks,I’m so excited.” and the single will be out “in a couple of weeks,”, but the video will be previewed on the reality TV show Kourtney & Kim Take New York.

Kardashian admitted that recording the song was very difficult but she had some friends cheering her on. She commented: “You know it was something that I was really uncomfortable and nervous about, and [The-Dream] really just wanted me to step outside of my box and try something I’ve never done before, So I was really honest. I’m like, ‘You’re not gonna get Beyoncé here, you’re not gonna get Celine Dion,’ and he really pulled something out of me … I was just so nervous.”

Kim has also confirmed that this is not the start of a musical career but a one off to raise money for cancer research.

It’s a big start to the year for Kim Kardashian as she shared her new single with the party goers at the Tao nightclub to bring in 2011.

Immediately after doing the new years eve countdown, she announced the song and even sang along. According to a source at the party, “Fans screamed and snapped photos of Kim as she partied to her new song,”

There were also video cameras present to shoot scenes at the club, which will be used in the video clip. Kanye West will also make an appearance in the video clip apparently.

Kim Kardashian is STILL partying to celebrate her 30th birthday this week. Kardashian shows no sign of slowing down, attending at least 5 parties this week, most of those in her honor and in multiple cities. Last night Kim had a party at a nightclub in New York and was surprised with a ‘very’ expensive birthday cake. A local jeweler, restaurateur and night club owner presented Kim with a 1 Million dollar diamond encrusted cake! Unfortunately for Kardashian the cake was just for show and not hers to keep though..

In other Kim Kardashian news, Kardashian has revealed was kinds of makeup mistakes she hates. Apparently she dislikes women who choose the wrong foundation type for their skin. Kardashian told the Toronto Sun newspaper in an interview: “I hate when women wear the wrong foundation colour. It might be the worst thing on the planet when they wear their make-up too light.”

Kim also told the newspaper that she will continue to give makeup tips via her twitter account: “I do it for fun and put up fun beauty tips and fashion, so it’s really amazing that people read it and follow it.”
