The Jonas Brothers co-hosted the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto on June 21, 2009. The outdoor show took place around MuchMusic’s Queen Street headquarters and drew thousands of fans to a multi-stage production.
The group opened its performance set with “Burnin’ Up” on the parking-lot stage and later returned for “Paranoid.” They also won the fan-voted international-video category for “Burnin’ Up.” Other performers on the broadcast included Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, Billy Talent and Nickelback.
